The newest members of the Alcon Air Optix family are the Air Optix Plus HydraGlyde monthly contact lenses.
They are developed with Alcon moist technology, and its HydraGlyde Surfactant Matrix can also be found in bestselling premium quality care fluids such as OPTI-FREE PureMoist and AoSept Plus with Hydraglyde lotion.
The HydraGlyde technology was specifically created with silicone hydrogel based lenses in mind. Agents embedded in the lens's surface block hydrophobic areas and attract and retain moisture, so as to ensure long-term comfort for the wearer.
